Educating fans and viewers about how a network makes advertising revenue on a show they fund isn’t the same thing as Amy herself being obsessed with money.
When fans understand what metrics count as “success” for their favorite shows, they’re better equipped to help achieve it.
Maybe you should take your show to YouTube like your colleagues did…oh I forgot, money is the priority here.

Fun fact: I’ve been making Lore for so long that kids who started listening in middle school are now (still listening) in college. I’ve even heard from some who have picked degree paths and careers inspired on Lore.
To say I feel blessed is an understatement.
8 years ago today, I clicked the “Publish” button on a little side project I called @LorePodcast, and—although I didn’t know it at the time—it changed my life forever.
I was just looking for a way to turn my writing into something bigger than a hobby.
