Besides what you willingly give 10% to church is ok , and if possible, we should all do that as a Christan. But, demanding , imposing collection of 1 month salary for the construction of Church building is too much for middle class family.

U do understand not everyone can afford to seek professional help right? Although I agree expert help must but if ‘whining’ can ease them for a bit then let them. We often talk to normalise this but if someone speak up there’s always a person to shun it off as attention seekers.

For me it was a friend who guided to seek professional help. I couldn’t never to my family cos they won’t understand the complexity of it. So at the end of the day it’s about ‘right person’ who helps you. Expression is no wrong... that’s what therapy does too; to talk about it.
