Bailing out the banks is literally bailing out people’s savings in those banks. Obama’s treasury nationalized banks to prevent a Great Depression, buying their shares at a historic low and then sold those shares at a net profit for the US taxpayer.

Explain how Obama dropped the public option? Pelosi passed a public option in the House bill. It was dropped because Dems lost the 60 vote threshold in the Senate after Ted Kennedy’s death, meaning only the Senate bill could pass as-is in the House.

27 million people have health coverage who had nothing before Obama was in office.

Going back to the original question, what specific thing should Biden do?

The abundance of firearms does facilitate the committing of mass shootings but it doesn't facilitate the creation of young men with the inclination to commit mass murder. It's that archetype that is the uniquely American sickness. The shootings themselves are the result of that.

It would be great if he would finally press that “fix police reform” button under the Resolute Desk

a nice two step here. support the proliferation of guns and the transformation of the united states into an armed society and then say "looks like we have to dismantle public education as it is too dangerous to send your children to school"

Interesting point C. Given that the primary victims of Al-Qaeda are brown people, having killed millions of Muslims throughout the world, why some don’t have any comment on that, only on actions taken against Al-Qaeda to prevent them killing civilians

“kid’s dad” is a nice way of saying terrorist and propagandist who took his kid with him to join Al Qaeda in Yemen
I mean, this isn’t blaming Discord. It’s just how every site gets engagement on social media now, put out as many stories that will get clicked on when searching for [current event]. A lot of these articles pop up when you search on Google.
Reminder that active shooter drills are especially worthless now because the war on elementary schoolers has been going on for long enough that the active shooters also went through active shooter drills

Honestly at this point I think ragetweeting about Democrats is just a self-soothing mechanism people on here do in times of stress, because it's guaranteed engagement and validation. The alternative is that there are people who think Democrats can ban guns in Texas.

I think every teenager who has shot up a school was mentally ill; they may or may not have seen a psychologist and be prescribed medication at their age. But all are paranoid and have grandiose delusions. Obviously huge variation in the term “mental illness” itself

There’s nothing in that paragraph that Carlin wouldn’t say now. He’s not really saying anything bad

University in California did a comprehensive study of school/mass/spree shooters of all ages & found that the common link between them ALL is a vehement hatred of women (80% had a history of domestic violence). Most killed a female relative/gf/wife immediately prior to the event
17/18 year old boys keep going on shooting sprees. That’s a fucking epidemic that needs to be addressed.

You’re telling me this bit from Carlin wouldn’t cause a week-long Twitter discourse?
