On 07/02/2022 before departure of Tejas Exp. Train Agartala GRPS staff & RPF staff recovered approx. 82 kg Ganja (Cannabis) from Tejas Exp. Train & Platform area as unclaimed while they were performing regular Train checking duty at Badharghat Railway Station.
On 01.02.2022 on the basis of secret information OC Kalamchowra PS along with officers and staff conducted raid in the house of one Arab Ali S/O Chayed Ali of Naljala and recovered/Seized 57 kg dry ganja in 06 plastic bags. A specific case has been registered. @MyTripuraPolice
During anti liquor raid based on secret info Ambassa PS, Dhalai District seized 36 Bottle Beer and 31 bottle whiskey u/s-69 TE Act. Arrested the possessor u/s 69 TE Act.
The way @Tripura_Police is actively working on eliminating drugs, I think Tripura will be drugs free in coming years. Salute to all department and personnel’s involved in executing this long term vision.
