Honoured to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph in Whitehall this morning in memory of all from Northern Ireland and across our United Kingdom - Armed Forces personnel, Police, Prison Service, Civilians and others who have fallen in war and conflict. We will remember them.

Did you purposely leave out the tens of thousands of Irish men who fought in WWI & WWII? There were so many killed in the First World War that it took 8 books to list their names.

I'm not here to defend Sir Jeffrey, however, the Irish Ambassador to the UK, Adrian O’Neill, laid a wreath in honour of all those from the Republic of Ireland who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
