“Something is up” yeah decades of austerity and liberalism have created infrastructure with no resilience in order to facilitate the short term upward transfer of wealth, no secret sinister cabals needed, just open ones
Primary source of drinking water for millions. Too many disasters all in a row, y'all. Something is up.

The solidarity shown by Corbyn to some of these people and there's just nothing back. It's disgusting and we'll not forget

Russia’s decision to detain a US journalist shows their complete disregard for media freedom. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the US in defence of these fundamental democratic principles.

A normal country with strikingly normal politics, where very normal things are required to slip by unnoticed to help ensure things remain just as intensely normal as they are.

Again, it is interesting that Britain can only have a functioning non-Conservative government if it’s led by the literal godparent of Rupert Murdoch’s child, even when said Tories have been catastrophic for much of the country. It’s just not interesting the way John thinks it is.

When Labour was offered the opportunity to vote against the Tories' Section 35 order (which blocked self-ID for Scottish trans people) they abstained. Just 11 brave Labour MPs defied Keir Starmer's instructions and voted against it. 94% did not.
The Labour Party will always be committed to building a society where the trans community feel safe and respected. Labour will: 🏳️‍⚧️ Introduce tougher sentences for LGBT+ hate crime 🏳️‍⚧️ Ban conversion therapy in all forms 🏳️‍⚧️ Modernise the outdated Gender Recognition Act

Point of clarification, it's a banana republic when the president of the state commits crimes and DOESN'T face justice.

This is obviously very serious and will certainly lead to a long discussion in the media as to what should be done about it, rather than be forgotten about before the weekend which will definitely not happen

Snide pricks quote tweeting this can do one, I'd do the same if I could afford it. A Starmer gov represents the death of any alternative political future, and a cast iron guarantee that things will get worse in the long-term. Who wouldn't want to cash out with that in mind?
I will probably emigrate. I’m not living under Starmer’s authoritarian anti leftism. I’ll probably be thrown in jail for calling him Keith

FWIW inclined to believe that once the point is reached of people hoping and praying that an individual they plan to lend their democratic support is lying to you and everyone else the subject under discussion is no longer democracy, nor anything remotely similar.

2023 is the year of the luddite. you will advocate for various tech to be banned. you will question the political economy that powers innovation. you will balk at the idea that markets know best. you will commit to democracy in all parts of society, including the economy.

Yesterday @Keir_Starmer supported outing trans kids to their parents. Rosie Duffield is still a sitting MP and is still able to like and share horrific stuff about trans people without any repercussions. Just last week @Keir_Starmer also said that GRR reform wasn’t a priority
