Do NOT raise the limit to 70. The current 67 is already too old. Does he want it to be so high that people die before they can draw it?

The system was designed to support 5 to 1 Workers versus Pensioners. It cannot survive 4 to 1 or 3 to 1 at present tax rates. Increase worker age OR raise taxes. Pick one. Current 47 million Pensioners with 130 million workers. 2.75 to 1 and getting worse year over year.

At age 67, he will begin collecting it in three years, if he is waiting for the maximum benefit. The problem is that people who most need it can’t wait that long.

Social Security is an absolute failure. Time to buy out those that have paid in and scrap the program entirely. Even if we take on massive debt, just like in business, we can no longer meet our obligations. We must honor agreements. Liquidate, reimburse and restructure.

FYI to those that comment, I’m not going to continue to repeat the same things over and over to every person who comments. Feel free to disagree but I’m not about to spend my whole life on Twitter educating.

Easy for you to day Some of us need it as we grow older cause we ain’t rich and we need everything we can get. Once we retire and cannot make extra money, we need it then not have to wait until your 70. Genes comes into this where some of us have issues and so we need it

You can retire early ... the amount of the benefit is reduced .... 70 would be for FULL retirement SS ... the current age Is higher than people think (66+)
