If you think it's crazy that there won't be any voters in the audience for tonight's debate, just wait until you hear that it's taking place in a theater that seats 1,000 people. It'll be empty—no seats filled—because Abbott refuses to face those he's failed these last 8 years.

The fact that you need an internet connection to take a photo for your @googlephotos Locked folder is not confidence inspiring. Why?!?

Greg Abbott let more people into the room to watch him ban abortion in cases of rape and incest than he's letting into the room to watch tonight's debate.

Edge's SuperRes toggle now seems to be working without a page refresh, so it's easy to see how it changes the images in your page. textslashplain.com/2022/09/1…

Would this be pointlessly nitpicky in an ordinary conversation? Yes, clearly. Don’t treat friends and family this way, it’s dickish. But public statements in support of a clearly counterfactual agenda? The nitpicking isn’t just pointed, it’s essential.

This is an extraordinarily effective rhetorical technique, btw. A person is more likely to believe something that they come up with themselves than something they were told. Letting the reader supply all the inferences that lead to a presumption of causation enhances the message.

"You've clearly got a story there." I have heard this story enough times that the subjects of it will hopefully not hold it against me because they will assume I am talking a different Googling by a different fiefdom who they don't care.

This is a big one for us - here is why: 1. We want to make it easy for people to protect their applications. You should not be worried about unpredictable costs otherwise the bad actors are winning
