There are many issues that I'm sure the country could come to a general consensus on if a long enough TV programme and series with the right experts existed. Twitter and 5 min segments with politicians isn't the answer.

🌎 No need to thank us, @IPCC_CH! We’ve translated climate science into everyday humanspeak with the @jonathanpienews & Prof Jo Haigh, so there's zero confusion what action we all need to take. Full uncut video here: invidious.fdn.fr/Xt3BK_JK3KE   #ClimateScienceTranslated #IPCC

Brilliant and entertaining.
OK, because I'm completely broken as a human being I'm going to live tweet the illegal migration bill during its first parliamentary debate.

Permit me an observation on the controversy surrounding @GaryLineker's view on immigration and asylum as expressed in his now notorious tweet. I worked in the BBC's Editorial Complaints Unit for around a decade, adjudicating on complaints that there had been breaches

"Are we seriously having a discussion that a tweet from @GaryLineker has done more damage to BBC impartiality than your chairman seeking an £800k loan for Boris Johnson? ...This is just a whipped up row by Tories desperate to fight the election on culture wars." - @campbellclaret

Outstanding explanation of the relevant international law in very clear and readily understandable form. It contrasts markedly with the disingenuous and dishonest waffle emanating from the HS and her supporters.
💥 AMAZING by Chris Daw KC @crimlawuk. A must-watch and must-share. "To detain someone, without trial, without access to a lawyer, or the courts, and then deport them - it's abominable. The UK will become an international human rights pariah. There's nothing 50-50 about it." ~AA

Wonderful to see Lang Lang on TV. Still pinch myself that I got this seat at Royal Albert Hall and unashamedly grabbed a cheeky handshake!
Standing in Waitrose for 2 mins I just saw 6 back to back Daily Mail and 2 Daily Telegraph being sold. What goes on in these peoples minds?????!!!
