We didn’t have any where NEAR 1M deaths from COVID in the US. COVID mortality has been over-reported by several orders of magnitude. The actual number is probably closer to 300,000 — and more than half of those wouldn’t have occurred, if appropriate treatment have been rendered.
IIRC, Ferguson’s model predicted 1,000,000 - 2,000,000 deaths in the USA in the absence of mitigation, but he didn’t give a timeframe.
We ended up hitting 1 million deaths after two years. How wrong was he actually?

A thought. Alot of emotion and publicity over Mass shootings following tragic events like the recent Michigan State Murders, but if I was a Detroit resident where an average ~400 Murders per year are committed over the past decades, I'd be pissed off because there is no coverage
