#OnThisDay 1504 At the Battle of Knockdoe in Galway, the first gun used in Irish battle was recorded but it was used as a club not a firearm. Here, the Earl of Kildare defeated the Lord of Clanricarde but most of the fighting was done by Galloglass mercenaries. #Ireland #History

And Michelle O'Neill tells us there was no alternative to murdering young Joanne Mathers? Absolutely tragic
The IRA once murdered a census worker; now an ex-IRA man is in charge of conducting the census & republicans are pinning great hope on it showing a Catholic majority. But even if it does, that doesn't have the constitutional implications it once had. economist.com/britain/2022/0…

"I'll die for the IRA" The IRA that no longer exists? Or the IRA that murdered more Catholics than anyone else and continues to do so? How little they actually know #Darwinism
Here's a new one " I'll die for the IRA" how pathetic and sad must you be to sing that....

He's got a point... How many bars did terrorists walk into here, indiscriminately machine gunning all inside... Republicans are becoming more and more extreme and it ends one way...☠️
Here is one of the bars at Feile, proudly on display is the flag of a proscribed terrorist organisation Cumann na mBan. This flag is also sold by the Sinn Fein bookstore. Now, will the same people outraged at flags being sold in Londonderry be expressing their disgust?

This is a harrowing watch, but an important reminder of what Republican terrorism really involved. It was & never will be something to be proud of. A new generation heroising & romanticising this behaviour is depressing, but also inevitable when Sinn Fein justify & celebrate it.
