I heard Jack Jones sing a Christmas song on the radio. I found a new CD of him doing Christmas. Obviously an old release. The selling price(import)£145!!!
A question at our Sunday quiz last week. Which national retailer closed in 2014. We knew Debenhams is too recent. Then we thought Woolworths. It was BHS.

On line it says it closed on 2016.

Woolworths into admin 2009 and disolved in 2015. So technically the question and answer in our quiz was wrong.

**UPDATE** 'STREP A' OUTBREAK. Was just in the local pharmacy: a woman early 20s was sitting in a mask in one of the chairs in there: she looked really ill: was flinching at the light and keeping her head down: looked like Covid...

That went easier than I expected. Dressed. I found money and bingo dabbers. I can manage without the bingo board. Once shaved. I am ready to go.

Soon have to get shaved. Dressed. Find the bingo dabbers and board. Then wait for the taxi. Home around 10.30pm. Long after the England match has finished.

If you are the woman who attended a blood donation clinic today and reduced a nurse to tears because your appointment was delated BY 20 MINS OWING TO ANOTHER NURSE COLLAPSING then I hope you feel really big and proud of yourself. If I ever see you I will kick you up the bum.

.@nadhimzahawi says nurses taking a pay cut - and obviously continuing to use foodbanks - 'would send a clear message to Putin'. Who thinks Government ministers and MPs should take one instead?

He also said that a pay rise for nurses could be better spent on "NHS frontline services". Does he even know what a nurse actually is?
Nadhim Zahawi tells nurses to "send a very clear message to Mr Putin" by accepting another real-terms pay cut.

Look into the situation in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver. Drugs and mental health issues are rampant. Care in the Community doesn't work

Almost 20% of the companies, nearly 1 million, registered at Companies House are fake, fronts of financial crime For £12 anyone from anywhere can form a UK company in with any name/address, nothing authenticated. That is what happens with deregulation. theguardian.com/business/202…

I totally agree. And their complete lack of self awareness, coupled with a sense of superiority because they believe the political classes to be better than the rest of us. But who got us in the mess we are in now? It wasn’t you or I.
