Dealt with a situation where someone was marginalizing others because they felt their experience was better and more relevant than others. This is against every #DiversityandInclusion principle I know of. Diverse experiences working together results in better solutions. #infosec

This may be more than you can share, but I thought I'd ask how you handled this? A lack of respect often precedes this type of behavior. I've personally found that if a kind yet direct discussion doesn't change things, it's best to let them go vs. allowing disrespect to continue.

I had to address directly in the moment and give that individual feedback and stop them. The individual then repeated the same behavior with another group people - they stopped the person as well and stated that the discussion can’t continue with that type of behavior.
