No forgiveness, no amnesty, no recociliation. No kumbaya. Scorched earth. Dismantle the GOP so not a single stone stands upon stone. Sow salt in the fields. Poison the wells. Trumplando delenda est.
During battle, General Grant said, “no terms except an unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted.” We offer the same terms to President Trump today. Read more about Operation Grant from @jwgop and @BillKristol, here: cleveland.com/opinion/2020/0…

True? Now let those companies commit to relocating as much as possible to state that protect citizens' rights regarding magical decisions, personal relationships, and voting rights. Make it a recruiting issue.

If the Dems would commit to organizing massive registration drives with an army of volunteers, the midterms would be an extinction event for the GOP. Stop ducking g marching & tweeting! Register new voters— and destroy the GOP forever!
And this is indeed where the seeds of the end of the GOP begins. Of course it requires registration and education but the timing has given us the opportunity to create turnout in November that will change America. Under 30 voters need to know their lives depend on this!

The fact that media organizations are instructing employees not to make public comments about the elimination of a fundamental constitutional right for 50% of the population tells you why the modern media is not capable of helping protect democracy from what is happening.

Pediatrician here. This isn't about babies, because if it were, we'd support kids & families with health care, high-quality education, universal child care, reliable housing, access to healthy food. This is about controlling women's bodies.

Let's not delude ourselves that confirmation votes have anything to do with answers provided in the kabuki theater of Senate confirmation hearings,
@SRuhle: Reason we have SCOTUS confirmation hearings is not for nominee to “say what it takes to get over the line.” @11thHour

In 2yr, Ds could be maj in House/Senate and in WH. Could be enough Senate D's to end filibuster. Forced birth govs could be out of office. Justices will lose lifetime tenure. Fundamental rights protected by statute if need be. That's it. If you want that, work toward that goal.

It needs to go even further ! All yhe people in all the states can be registered - but if they can't/ don't show up to vote it was all for nothing! We need to divide to conquer ! Register - then get people to their voting precincts on Election Day !

Please amplify this message. This should be the plenary target. You won't convert anyone but there are millions and millions of votes out there we've traditionally left on the table.
In 2020 election, 27% of voting age citizens weren't registered to vote. Of voting age citizens, 1/3--77M--didn't vote. The age group that really has the most to gain or lose by election outcome--18-29--had lowest voting rate, w/almost half eligible not voting.

They had to pull out something big to distract people from the hearings, but if you know the authoritarian playbook, taking away reproductive rights and trying to steal elections are linked. So they will only make us more determined.
24 hours ago we were talking about the amazing progress the January 6 Cmte was making. There were reports people in Trump's orbit were concerned about the strength of the evidence. We absolutely must not forget that.

Get every college student you know educated in the tools of registering their contemporaries. Their lives depend on this and many still haven't registered and haven't voted. They have more skin in the game than those of us who actually remember life before Roe.
Persuading the unpersuadable is a fool’s errand. There are millions of unregistered voters in America today. Most of these are Democrats by inclination. Register them and the GOP will experience an extinction event. Registering voters is hard and unsexy work. But it works.

The key to winning in these states is to REGISTER NEW VOTERS. Stop marching and tweeting and start doing the hard and unglamorous work of registering MILLIONS of new Democrats. If the Dems can prioritize registration, the GOP will be extinct after the midterms.

For Beto to win and for TX to turn Blue, the Dems in TX need to PRIORITIZE REGISTRATION DRIVES. It’s hard & unsexy door to door selling. Nobody wants to do this. But, it pays huge dividends. Stop marching and tweeting. Start registering new Democrats today!

Vote, of course, but I 100% disagree, my friend, that people shouldn't push to expand the SCt. The number 9 isn't sacrosanct. Before it was chosen in 1869, it had changed 6 times. And now we've had 9 justices for 150 yrs, tho we've added 13 states, 4 circuits & 300M more people.
So many tweets from otherwise intelligent people about expanding the court— a fantasy that has ZERO chance of happening. Focus on getting rightfully enraged women to VOTE, instead.

An outrageous, backwards looking decision, but the answer is to channel that outrage forward. 34 members of the body who confirmed these justices are up for reelection in 136 days.

Thread. A cautionary thought: the GOP can read polls. They *know* that a solid majority of Americans intensely oppose them on abortion, gun control and insurrection (to name but a few). They know these are big losers, in national electoral terms. Yet they persist.
