It not a โcost of living crisisโ itโs a cost of existing crisis, food, electricity and gas are not luxuries they are basic necessities and more and more people can no longer afford enough of these necessities.

It costs us cยฃ70k to discount a house for Right To Buy. 40% end up as buy-to-lets, with a significant cost to us in housing benefit. Why not use those ยฃ70ks to build new social housing for genuinely affordable rents? Fairer, and better value for money in the long run.
