*** ELDERLY COUPLE ROBBED AT GUN POINT *** About 20 minutes ago, 2 males pointed a black hand gun at an elderly couple in the Cherry-Guardino neighborhood. Unknown take. Appears couple not injured. The two males fled on foot south on Guardino. Numerous officers in the area.

Heads up, check with your local NWS offices and favorite media sources for more info if your plans include traveling to the southwest through late July and early August. Monsoon ongoing, heavy showers and thunderstorms mainly each afternoon and evening.
Over the next 7 days, a large swath of precipitation will extend from the Desert Southwest thru the South Central US to the Mid-Atlantic, bringing increased threats for flash flooding as Excessive Rainfall may bring QPF totals as high as 5" in some locations thru Thu 08/04 🌧️

There is a very slight chance for isolated, high-based thunderstorms that have the potential to produce a lightning strike or two for interior portions of the East Bay and North Bay overnight into Tuesday morning. #CAwx
