Enjoy time with @imammagid - we spoke together yesterday then walked through the ancient part of Bukhara - stumbled on a family making bread - it was hot and good!

I pray every day for the beautiful Soul of my mother. God says,“We have commanded people to be good to their parents: their mothers carried them, with strain upon strain, and it takes two years to wean them. Give thanks to Me and to your parents all will return to Me”-Quran,31:14

In this last days of Ramadan let’s reflect on this reminder and promise from God "Say; O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful".

There is a festive atmosphere during last ten nights of Ramadan. Worshippers come to the mosque en masse to pray and reflect, each seeking their own spiritual transformation.

Ramadan is the month of giving. Our wealth and possessions are to be used not only for our own enjoyment but for the benefit of the world around us. When we give with open heart we find joy in giving.
