In 1707 the people had no power 😱. In 1745 people power won our independence for a nanosecond 😕. In 2023 people power can win. It will be tough but 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 can win its independence 😀.

UK gilts are supposedly 'safe'. Anyone who bought this one (issued at £100) has lost 75% of their capital if they sell it now. Pension funds have been pushed towards gilts by the regulators for the last 20 years.

Delegates who sang God Save the King didn’t sing “the” national anthem, @BBCr4today. They sang the national anthem of England. In Wales, Scotland & Ireland, we have our own national anthems. None of them are “the” national anthem. Hope that helps. #equals

So who wants to keep their nice stable strong Sterling now instead of the 'It will plummet' Scottish Pound? Self sufficient in oil, gas, electricity, water, and most food.

My garden bird feeder is emptied in less than a day by a great number of birds. That’s unusual isn’t it?

8 years ago tonight I really believed I would wake up to an independent Scotland where the people who live and work in this beautiful and resource rich country would be responsible for the running of it. Just imagine if we had secured this future. We will yet.

Eight years ago, I was 16 and the independence referendum was my first vote. I was hopeful about Scotland moving forward as an independent nation. We were scaremongered and lied to about Brexit, then we got dragged out anyway. Still Yes, and always will be. #scottishindependence

Exactly 8 years ago today, the people of Scotland held all the power over its country but 55% of them chose to hand it to another country.

Good stuff. I am so proud the currency was officially launched at the SSRG conference. Best of luck after reinstatement in the SNP.
