This morning I coded up a first simple toolglass: zoom lens controlled via the trackpad under my non-dominant hand as I draw with the stylus in my dominant hand. Seen here assisting with the all important nostrils on this smiley face...
One unforeseen benefit of using my own driver for the Wacom tablet is that I can map the tablet's surface to the drawing pane, rather than having the OS map it to the full screen. This results, practically speaking, in much higher input resolution within drawings.
The plan was to make more toolglass overlays, but I got distracted and accidentally made a metaballs drawing program, after which I had to draw this psychedelic monogram...
