There is a remarkable ignorance about the law on this topic It is not obviously helpful that the people purporting to speak on the law are in error of law International law is law while we incorporate it - while we make it our law - parliament can (always could) change that
Looks like the hardliners have prevailed. If the Bill contains a provision to disapply s7A(2) of the EUWA (& I bet it does), this’ll be a breach of international law. Yet more rule-breaking. theguardian.com/uk-news/2022…

Nivruti Islania. A 6 month old baby. Murdered by the IRA because her father served in the RAF. Never let them rewrite history. Never let them portray themselves as victims. Know them by their deeds.

Outrageous that those who didn’t threaten violence had to put up with a border between one part of their own country and another part (all within the U.K.) whilst those using violence as a threat were rewarded by the Protocol. No wonder Unionism is angry
Can’t believe there are people still trying to deny that these threats were ever made.

We in Sinn Fein will always stand against sectarianism. Our health spokesperson in the republicans outlines our party’s position very well. First minister for all

On the 24th May 1921 32% of the population supported a United Ireland. One hundred and one years later the figure is 30%. Today tens of thousands will gather to celebrate the failure of violent, leftist terrorism. Faciam eos in gentem unum.

1/2 Well done to this man 👏🏻 Watch the reaction of Sinn Fein when a member of this audience asks, does SF plan in bringing in abortion up to 9 months in the Republic of Ireland, as they did in Northern Ireland?

A bigot shoots dead innocent people in the USA. Biden rightly condemns it. Meanwhile, he sends representatives to threaten the UK about Northern Ireland having their full UK rights. Who does he send? Supporters of the IRA. The IRA = bigots who shot dead innocent people.

There is a fundamental dishonesty in the claim that the EU is offering to reduce checks on produce entering Northern Ireland. It is offering to do so *if Britain agrees to follow its rules in perpetuity*. That is not a concession; it's a demand. #bbcqt
