OMG THIS IS AMAZING: The MAGA Arizona county who refused to certify the results of the November election will cost Republicans a seat in the House: If the 47,000 ballots are not included in the final tally, Democrat Kirsten Engel will take the seat.

I think disenfranchising any votes is a shame. I also hope this ends up being a hard lesson for all election deniers.

While flipping a house seat would benefit Democrats, it’s a terrible precedent, and one that would be abused next election. All valid votes need to count. We are fighting for democracy, not “our side” to win.

This is a terrible precedent. If not certifying an election means votes don't count then it will work equally as well when the GOP doesn't certify a Dem win. What happens if enough counties don't certify so it changes how the state votes in the EC total? This is terrible.

I wouldn't be celebrating this if the Dem takes the seat instead. This is be warmup for 2024 if they're willing to forgo a seat to prove a point even if it hurts them. Be prepared for them to do this all over the Country.

Not seeing this set a precedent at all. If an elected Republican chooses to not certify primarily Republican votes then why would Democrats object to that. The Republicans living in the district certainly have the means to contest. Maybe it’s time that these folks take a stand.

It will only add fuel to the 'stolen elections' refrain from the rest of them, there and across the nation. If a county won't certify, states must have a protocol to step in fairly, count out the winner, and certify- not just discount the votes of its citizens. Election Reform.

I'm good w Cochise County Board of Elections not certifying the election. I'm good with the 47,000 votes being deleted from the state's totals. I'm good with the Board being charged with felonies. I'm good with the Board going to prison.

The Russians are thrilled as this causes Americans to lose faith in their elections. You probably should not be happy to be on the side of Russians.
