Arron, as always, pretends that one can't do both. Be close to close markets and also trade to far away markets. Plenty of other European countries do it well. It's a crap political move that in no way helps UK business. It instead makes life harder for businesses (and people).

Brexit in this sense is a strong and long lasting kick by political classes against the British economy, with no expectation of improvement, or desire to acknowledge such.
