I think I’ve heard it used both positively (less often) and negatively (much more often), but I personally associate it with crazy ppl, or maybe communism, and certainly not with insightful, admirable writing lol

I am not scared of becoming a minority because I believe in the individual’s ability to overcome all circumstances and achieve success in America.
In fact, my field is dominated by minorities who succeed in every possible way. Why would I doubt my own ability to do the same?
Questions for the people who are scared of becoming a minority: Why is that? Are minorities treated differently?
