In the aftermath of the Pulse shooting, my friends mom couldn鈥檛 find her son for 48 hours. He was murdered. The pain she and many many many many many many many parents have felt since then is the failure and downfall of our society.

The worst pain a parent can ever feel. Poor dad. Took his baby to school today and may not see him again. How is this okay? How can we let hate win?

Federico Torres is one of the many parents looking for his kids here in Uvalde. He tells me his 10-year-old son Rogelio was in Mr. Reyes class. And officials at the hospital and here at the civic center are not giving him any answers. @KHOU

I鈥檓 so sorry Mr. Torres. I promise to always vote for only people who are in favor of ending these tragedies. I will do this in every election for the rest of my life. It鈥檚 the absolute minimum any American citizen can do.

Outside a Uvalde hospital, @HenryRamosTV reports seeing a nurse getting into her car and breaking down in tears as soon as she opened her door. Along with the families of today's victims, the law enforcement officers and hospital staff involved will never be the same.

Just STFU. How many white dudes get shot in the back running away, or in the back of the head or not running or resisting, but doing precisely what the cops says, during a traffic stop? How many white dudes are killed b/c he's got a phone in his hand?

I'll never forget Sandra Bland. I'll never forget how that pig decided to put his filthy hands on her & throw her on the ground. That to me was just unbelievable. What a POS. I hope he gets what's coming to him.
