It’s shocking but not surprising that Boris Johnston wasn’t aware of the system of designation at the Assembly that means @allianceparty MLAs votes count for less on important issues. It needs urgently reformed or we will keep having these crises. lbc.co.uk/news/boris-johnson…

A real life impact of having no functioning government. No argument makes this acceptable.

Hi my name is Dan hodges, I'm pretty out of touch on everything, and I've just walked straight into the most blatant trap since oakenshot two days ago.

Revelations like this are better latte than never.

Was wondering why Michelle was insisting I have my birthday present a day early. A cocktail smoker on #internationalcocktailday makes sense. Smoked dirty martini is intereting. (First is that a bag of wee comment gets blocked).

This is the awful truth of not having government. Its not the laugh some trolls think. Whataboutry doesn't provide medical care and ego does not prioritise life.
As the survivor of a less survivable cancer this situation is unforgivable, speed of diagnosis and treatment is urgent the Cancer Strategy is essential, the @duponline DUP are letting people die as a result of their failure to get into government let that sink in! @OGCancerNI

Thanks to the DUP, thousands and thousands of Disabled People in Northern Ireland will now face further pain, distress and suffering as a result of their actions today. I will never take any lectures from the DUP on how to support disabled people, especially after today.
Today’s Actions by the DUP is extremely hurtful to every resident of Northern Ireland. Disabled People in Particular, who have been disproportionately hurt by the cost of living crisis, will now suffer further as a result of the DUP’s actions today. #Stormont

How wonderful it must be to have this level of wilful ignorance.
Why to give work shy more to spend on drink, drugs and cigs ?

Given the utter pantomime politics over NIP by the torys and the DUP I'm now convinced they need chaos to survive as entities. Meanwhile people need functioning practile government.

And she's completely right. It's a slap in the face for democracy, the second in two days.
.⁦@Naomi_long⁩ says it is a “shameful” day for the DUP who came to Stormont to take their salaries at a time when families are struggling to pay bills

As the DUP has a bit of time on their hands with refusing to be in government maybe getting posters down might be an idea?

The Assembly can take action. For one party to prevent it from doing so, is shameful beyond belief. Nothing is more important than this.
This week we seen someone quietly turn down chilled food items. When we enquired as to why, with embarrassment & tears they explained they couldn’t afford cost of electric to keep their fridge running. In this case, we were able to help, but this is the state of things out there.

And yet less than 1/3 of MLAs refuse to sit and form a government. This is heartbreaking.

Keep this in mind next time you see redwood etc say the protocol needs scrapped. Utter smoke and mirrors, people in kortgern Ireland being used a football.

Just trying to get my head clear on this? The @Conservatives AG says business is going into NI out of GB, the conservatives now want rid of NIP and @duponline refuse to sit unless NIPnis scrapped?
I’m watching #BBCQT this morning. Recorded this clip - sorry for the shaky view - Did Braverman just give away the truth right in the middle of this? Business moving to NI needs to stay in GB….
