I wish a single person on the left would just acknowledge that they fell into a hysteria in 2016 that justified protest voting 3rd party because they were angry about Bernie Sanders losing - and swear to not ever do that again. Is that so hard?

I was too young to vote in 2000, but still volunteered for Nader. I have said over & over it was a mistake. And others say the same back! I haven't seen this at all w/ 2016 Stein voters *online*. That said, the Green Party share was lower in 2020, so some must feel that way

And I definitely wish the high profile people would help us out here!

I know a *lot* of Stein to Biden voters, so that's definitely a thing. I don't know any who are ready to say they got 2016 wrong though (in contrast to 2000 Nader voters, who tend to own it)

Yeah, I think the *online* part is the big difference maker there - it just didn't exist in this fashion in 2000.

When I was 16, Kennedy was assassinated. At 18, I voted for my first democrat. I thought of others over the years, but stayed with Dems; none were ever a bad or wrong choice & many won, including popular vote winners Gore & HRC. #EndElectoralCollege & vote to help our neighbors.

Green Party share being down in 2020 definitely shows enough people learned their lesson, whether they will acknowledge it or not!

I've noticed the same...and some have turned into anti-mask/anti-vax sorts.
