I wish a single person on the left would just acknowledge that they fell into a hysteria in 2016 that justified protest voting 3rd party because they were angry about Bernie Sanders losing - and swear to not ever do that again. Is that so hard?

I was too young to vote in 2000, but still volunteered for Nader. I have said over & over it was a mistake. And others say the same back! I haven't seen this at all w/ 2016 Stein voters *online*. That said, the Green Party share was lower in 2020, so some must feel that way

I know a *lot* of Stein to Biden voters, so that's definitely a thing. I don't know any who are ready to say they got 2016 wrong though (in contrast to 2000 Nader voters, who tend to own it)

Ultimately changed behaviour is more important than the satisfaction of someone admitting they got it wrong (& I just feel like the latter isn't coming in any case) but I worry, that it won't stay changed, a lot of what I'm hearing seems like many won't vote in 22,
