Today, @CDCDirector said: "The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least 4 comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with and yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicron." This is eugenicist.

It is "encouraging" to @CDCDirector that chronically ill & disabled Americans are dying. It's no wonder that @CDCgov has consistently refused to issue guidance protecting the health & wellbeing of chronically ill Americans – our deaths clearly don't count.

Will the @JoeBiden @WhiteHouse let these eugenicist remarks by @CDCDirector stand? Will @POTUS demand an apology and retraction? Or does President Biden agree that it's "encouraging" that chronically ill & disabled Americans are dying?

How many of us have four or more chronic conditions? Lots. (Source: rand.org/blog/rand-review/20…)

Good God. That is horrific. I have family with "at least four comorbidities" I am not at all "encouraged" by this news. People with disabilities are not expendable, or acceptable collateral damage.

Maybe. Some those comorbities were things they could live a long life with under normal circumstances

When I contracted covid I was in tip top shape of my life (at 30 years old), 2 years later after that ‘mild infection’ I now have “at least 4 comorbidities” due to #LongCovid ~ so feel free to completely disregard what happens to me if I get infected again. 🙃

I hear you. Same. Perfectly healthy at 35 before and now, this. But I don’t matter now.
