Communities must be at the centre of our work to reform the Met. We saw the essential community-led police training that’s taking place to ensure London’s newest police officers understand more about the communities in which they will go on to police.

Good example of local policing team @MPSBexley listening to community concerns and tackling robberies in the area
Great work by PC Nathan Munday who listened to community reports of robberies in cash and carry car parks in Bexley, Greenwich, Haringey and Dagenham. Working with neighbouring forces, officers arrested three men and recovered cigarettes and £6000 in cash 👏

📻 | On Sunday the Commissioner spoke to @RichieBrave on @1Xtra. Trust in policing in Black and other minority communities is too low. We're determined to change that. We know it will involve challenging conversations and reflecting on the lived experience of all Londoners.
This week on #1XtraTalks@RichieBrave asked his listeners 'Do you trust the Police?' whilst sitting down with MET Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to discuss stop and search. 🎙 Catch 1Xtra Talks with Richie Brave every Sunday from 9-10pm 🎧 Listen back on @BBCSounds
