Yeah. Agree.
If Chappelle had done that antisemitic skit at one of his own shows, it would have been merely transgressive and nasty. But something sinister about doing it for SNL, usually home to milquetoast liberalism. What other prejudice would they have given such free reign to?

Jewish people made Hollywood because, due to antisemitism, we were banned from other industries. So sorry for being successful and entertaining you all these years. Also, sorry if there are too many of us there. nitter.fdn.fr/i/web/status/159…

I don't think it was intentional. But that was the net result. Sometimes there can be so many levels of irony, that you are back where you started. And this has kicked off such bald antisemitism that I have frankly never been fortunate enough to see before. It's very upsetting.
In October 2021, we featured Chappelle as an Antisemite of the Week Many, including those in the Jewish advocacy world, expressed dismay, stating his commentary was "humor" Last night on SNL, Chappelle showed us once again what a vile antisemite he is stopantisemitism.org/antisem…

Dave Chappelle's SNL opening monolog was cringe antisemitism. Not funny, awkwardly silent at times. It was a vindictive pile on against Jews. Comedians have lots of leeway but normalizing Jewish conspiracy at a time that Jews are literally under attack daily is ugly and dark.

'We can’t even look at the news without yet another expert telling us how we are racing to an early grave – as well as compounding what failures we are – because we can’t even perform this basic, primeval function,' writes @mirandalevycopy. 'We are suffering from “sleep guilt”'

💤 During eight years of sleeplessness, @mirandalevycopy tried many things... 'At some point in the late 2010s someone bought me a sleep tracker. After one night, I found this device uncomfortable, and ended up throwing it at the wall'
