At the airport and a guy has מָשִׁיחַ tattooed real big on his arm. I almost joked and said, “are you the anointed one?”
I didn’t and now I regret that moment.
Today I learned from one of my esteemed OT colleagues that “you should use Targum powder when you have a Midrash.”
That joke has been living rent free in my head all day.
Office workroom etiquette:
1. Remove and dispose your used k cup.
2. Fill water tank out of kindness for colleagues.
I don’t make the rules. I’m just here to enforce them.
Yesterday during a group presentation a few students incorporated in their project an in class quiz for fun. The last question was “what color is Nathan’s hair?” The answer?
“Invisible.”
*Emotional damage*
I love higher education and find immense joy in what the Lord has called me to do.
But it’s a struggle to leave the house every day when my son says, “Daddy, I want you to stay home and play with me today.”
The Church's one foundation
is Jesus Christ, her Lord;
she is his new creation
by water and the Word.
From heav'n he came and sought her
to be his holy bride;
with his own blood he bought her,
and for her life he died.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." 1 Peter 2:9
