The effects of the BoE being behind the curve at every step since November 2021...rates were raised too little initially, now we are paying the price.
The Bank votes 7-2 to raise interest rates to 4%. Details on @SpecCoffeeHouse soon. Graph via @SpecDataHub.
The reality is that if we hadn't left the EU it would have been much harder, in practice, for the UK to pursue an independent vaccination programme.
MY GOD! I’ve just seen the video Boris Johnson posted yesterday on the benefits of Brexit. It contained barefaced lies and has had nearly a million views! Help me take the TRUTH to the country!

It's been delivered in the US! 30 January. Not too bad.
I've posted (yesterday afternoon) a birthday card to the US - let's see how long it takes.
An enjoyable day's racing in the sun @plumptonraces. That lovely grey is Tapley, who just got beaten by Poncho (near-side) in the novice hurdle, the 2nd leg of a Gary/Jamie Moore treble.

Great to see 14yo hurdler KANSAS CITY CHIEF having another go at @plumptonraces today. I was lucky to be in attendance when he skipped round off the same mark over C&D last March. Decent run at Doncaster LTO, and Victoria Malzard takes the ride - 8/1 or so for a repeat today.
Train travel is amazing, when it works.
@plumptonraces Hello? Grateful for a reply to my enquiry above please.

FYI, here's a chart of *what's actually happened* to #food prices in the UK and EU after #Brexit... 👇 (sorry, no counterfactual models, or Tarot readings 😉) Since 2019, the CPI measure of food prices has risen by 19.9% in the UK, 21.1% in the euro area, and 24.1% in the EU.

I certainly didn't expect that. Energumene no excuses.
Instead of ITV making the whole of Cheltenham wait 40 minutes for the 1.20 why not do away with their irritating credits?
