I was just walking down 125th Street in Harlem when a Black trans woman approached me. “Can you please say something about Dave Chappelle?” she asked me. “I walk down the street and people make fun of me. He needs to know his words hurt Black people like me,” she said.

Sometimes I truly doubt the validity of tweets like this. He isn't recognizable beyond Twitter & especially not as a black man on 125th street in Harlem, and no one there is walking up to random Black men saying these things. 😂 Just tweet your thoughts spare the fake scenarios.

So there is this thing called Google. This man has been on TV since the 90s. And believe it or not working within your community often means people in your community do approach you.

Thank you, I came to day the same. I read her tweet like, huh? I knew him before I even joined twitter and I don’t live in Harlem.
