It is anonimous and no email is required. It is very important we receive as many replies as possible to get more media attention. This questionnaire focuses on students, I apologize to workers/families/couples. I'm also working on activities including other categories!

Thank you as always to @yamamotosaori__ and @NHKWORLD_News for talking about the issue of only the 0.06% of the waiting students allowed to enter Japan. Thank you @windroseeee1 for sharing your story! 🫂 #japantravelban

Media are asking me how many students are able to enter Japan... The pie below explains it pretty well. And no, that's not the Japan Flag...
Here is an easy visualization of the amount of students that will be let in this February. Unfortunately, it is invisible to the human eye. #japantravelban #Educationisnottourism

Today I called and left a message at the office of @melaniejoly , the minister of foreign affairs in Canada. Tomorrow I will do the same. I plan to call every day until there is a statement released by the Canadian government in condemnation of the #japantravelban

Heartbreaking video by foreign student who has waited nearly 2 years to enter Japan, paid full tuition, and is now giving up. "This travel ban is extremely inhumane. They have used our love toward the country and made us wait and wait and wait, and it's emotionally abusing us."
I gave up on studying in Japan and here’s why. (Japan travel ban) invidious.fdn.fr/wgxsJmkc4Pw via @YouTube

(1/4) From the news we are getting, it seems government-sponsored funds are getting prioritized with an announcement maybe coming next week. Actually there are still ongoing discussions about if & when to prioritize also privately funded students...(continue) #japantravelban

(3/4) They told me the discussion on privately funded students is still going on, so please write about the importance of privately funded students to the list above & to your local embassy/media since even if MEXT will be able to enter, the majority of students still can't

(4/4) We want to make sure to keep the pressure high for the categories that can't enter Japan yet and make sure that the government doesn't pass to media a message that "students can enter Japan" when only a very little percentage can.
