*turns on #sts #histSTM #twitterstorian batsignal * I'm up for tenure this year, which means the humbling experience of chronicling my scholarly impact. If your reading lists & syllabi for this semester (or any other) cite my work I'll be eternally grateful if you send me a copy!

Asking #twitterstorian hive mind! I have some pdfs (archive photos) in Google drive & on accident I clicked “open w/ Google docs”. Turns out it generated an editable text of those photos. So far it’s not perfect but seems relatively adequate. Any experience using this?

I am now officially obsessed with ANATOMY, a new novel by @DanaSchwartzzz. My #histmed and #histsci #twitterstorian friends are going to love this novel about a would-be female surgeon in 1800s Scotland! read.macmillan.com/lp/anatom…

Re #aha22 jobs panel. I'm a #twitterstorian working outside of academia- a path I forged w/o help from my alma mater. There's a dearth of helpful advice for ppl being forced out of/choosing to leave academia. Here's what worked for me, what didn't, & what I wish I'd done sooner🧵
