Apparently Amelia King’s apology for threatening to shoot and kill people is good enough for the Luray, Virginia, police chief. He released a statement saying she “immediately contacted law enforcement to apologize because the statement was not intended the way it was perceived.”

Luray police chief says he won't arrest person who made terrorist threats. Because when she saw it going viral on twitter she called to say that wasn't her "intent" Of course, this always works with bomb threats. Just call back later to "apologize"!

Pretty cool I think next time/first time I ever threaten to murder people for some mild inconvenience on film I will just call the police and explain that it was a momentary lapse in judgement, no bad. Also I'm white.
