Recap in 60 seconds the vision of Jeremy Corbyn’s manifesto ❤️ These policies gave hope to so many. In fact, they’re so good, the Tories have pinched some of them! Who can name a single Starmer policy, other than purge socialists? 🤷‍♀️ #Manifesto

Whoops we forgot to come up with any policies because we were too busy practicing our serious faces in the mirror!
How can this be happening? Bills over £4000? Absolutely terrifying. And we don’t even have a functioning government. All we hear is nonsense about no handouts, tax cuts & attacking the public sector. Where are the grown ups? Where is anyone? We are politically rudderless.

Let me make sure I have this right. We can't nationalise energy and make it affordable because @Keir_Starmer is envious and hateful towards Jeremy Corbyn. Millions of people are going to be driven into poverty because of Keir Starmer's factional vendetta. Have I got that right?

This is what 12 years of Tory cuts to our police and services look like. Broken Britain - lawless streets.

Corbyn saw this coming. Advocating for the nationalisation of utilities was out of a necessity, not some ideological amusement or score settling. Those who dismissed his economic prescription as “student politics” were wilfully blind to the crises we’re now confronted with

Had Jeremy Corbyn’s energy policies become law, your energy bill would be £3,000 cheaper this year Energy Corp profits would have been £120 billion lower. The national grid & energy corps would now be owned by you. Onshore wind which is 4 times cheaper would built in abundance

Britain has the most expensive energy in Europe, the most expensive train fares in Europe, the most overcrowded prisons in Europe and the dirtiest rivers and beaches in Europe. Such are the successes of privatisation.

What a steaming hypocrite you are. You & your Labour staffer mates worked non-stop to make sure Labour didn't win in 2017 & 2019. All so you horrible Labour 1st faction - who hate socialism & democracy but so love wars & lobbyists - could be in charge. You helped enable this.

Sad but very true...
The ultimate joke is that the media said a Jeremy Corbyn government would lead to chaos, out of control inflation, a cost of £4,000 per household, a return to the bad old 1970s. I don’t know about you it seems all these things happened because we DIND’T get a Corbyn government.

The Russian and French revolutions, inter alia, taught the rich that flaunting incredible wealth whilst allowing large numbers of people to become desperate was dangerous. Today's rich seem too stupid to remember this.

40% of people on Universal Credit are in work & 60% of children in poverty live in a household where one adult works. Mick Lynch of the @RMTunion is right - it's an outrage that people in work have to rely on benefits: "They need to be paid more"

My energy company just offered me a fixed price deal of £7,844.96 for 12 months, £7,844.96 for 12 months worth of gas and electricity. No I’m not kidding. I’m still bloody hyperventilating. @MartinSLewis

With a Labour government working families would have job security, the right to work flexibly and proper sick pay. We’d ban zero-hour contacts and increase the minimum wage to at least £10 an hour immediately. Labour is the party for working people.

The fun part here is that the best option - just nationalise them - is totally unthinkable, just so extreme and far beyond acceptability that it cannot even be hinted at.
Exclusive - Ed Davey calls for ‘energy furlough scheme’ to avoid October price cap rise, *cancelling* the £1400 rise in its entirety and having govt absorb the £36bn cost (paid in part via new windfall tax) theguardian.com/politics/202…
