Having children - and I've raised and helped to raise a lot of them - is the best hardest job you'll ever have. I'm beyond blessed. Everyone's different - but at the end of my life (many, many...many years from now 😜) I won't give a shit about my career.
I wish there was more honesty in the world about how many women feel trapped by motherhood, marriage, and being an 24/7 slave to men and children, whilst the TV and magazines frame it as some sort of feminine ideal bliss.
So many women regret it, but they can’t say a word.
