I covered the Dunblane school shooting in 1996. All UK politicians, right and left, supported strict new gun control laws, and said this can never happen again. And it hasn't.
26 years ago, a gunman entered Dunblane Primary School in Scotland, killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK govt responded by enacting tight gun control legislation. In the 9400+ days since, there have been a total of 0 school shootings in the UK. #Uvalde

But when I see that in UK the upper chamber of the Parliament is not only unelected but also that Β£3mln donation to the Tory party would secure a place then the award of prefossorship by the Polish president pales in comparison.

21 year old Victoria Polishchuk was a Ukrainian paratrooper. She has served in the Army for three years and was trusted with very complicated missions. She died on 21st March from a rocket strike coming from #Belarus territory.
