When I was a child and read about McCarthyism in school, I couldn’t believe it was allowed to happen. Today it has never been easier to see that it could happen again. A lot of ppl have already lost their minds.

We should all still be trying our hardest to avoid Covid. Even if you've had a mild infection before, you could get very sick or die the next time or you could infectd someone else who then dies. Your risk of long Covid goes up with each subsequent infection as well.

Top 3 things you can do to avoid Covid IMHO as an ER doc who has avoided it so far🤞🏻: 1. Masking 2. No indoor public dining/large gatherings 3. Gather in small groups only with other people who actually care and are also taking active measures not to get Covid. #CovidIsntOver

One way that we can fix our country is by ending Citizens United, do you agree?

Hospitalizations for covid are now clearly on the rise and are at a 2 month high. Mayo is predicting an 80% increase in cases in 2 weeks - not that we will know as rapid tests are only picking up 27% of all cases compared to PCR Flu for this date is at a multi year high
Nick Fuentes is NOT a “conservative activist” Ron DeSantis is NOT a “return to normalcy” Anti-Semitism is NOT a mere “difference of opinion” Attacking our Capitol is NOT “legit political discourse” Destroying women’s rights is NOT “just letting states decide” Are we clear?

Oh no! 😢 Rest easy & thank you for your service Don.

From research I have done, plastic packaging can only be significantly reduced at the manufacturing end. If plastic's cheaper for them, they won't voluntarily stop using it. Consumers must demand change, both by altering buying habits and by directly contacting corporations.

Microplastics have been found in human placentas and the early stool of fetuses. This should be much bigger news.

We’ve been so bedazzled by purported innovation we’ve buried common sense. Wanting products to work & executives to behave ethically is not a conspiracy but a reasonable reaction to the reckless testing of an unfinished, over-marketed product on the street techdirt.com/2021/10/04/tesl…

What it does take is everyone, every company, every government, every individual putting in the effort to make it happen,” Lau told me. “If we all actually band together, come together and put in place the solutions, we can solve this within the generation.”

100%. We're ingesting the equivalent of a credit card every week & slathering microplastics & petrochemicals on our face & body daily. No wonder autoimmune diseases are skyrocketing. (A Montreal scientist may have found a solution.) cnn.com/2022/10/31/us/microp…!

Microplastic is in *rain* and breast milk. I wish everyone would reject non natural fibers and de-plastic their homes. At the very least. Some plastic is helpful, as in medical settings, but the majority of it is new and unnecessary.
