I’m so unspeakably angry at this. Why is Ukraine good enough for EU membership but not the UK?
Should Ukraine join @NATO? “I believe that once this war is done and once the Ukrainians have won, then, yes, they should begin the process of induction both to NATO and, of course, to the EU,” says @BorisJohnson at the @AtlanticCouncil. Watch more: 🇺🇦➡️bit.ly/3Dz9ETM

Reality seems to be answering the ‘How’s Brexit going 3 years on?’ question pretty definitively. Worst performing economy… worse even than Russia… and every constituency bar 3 thinking it was a mistake. Storming performance.

Apparently we had the most successful vaccine rollout and released ourselves from Covid restrictions before the others, so it's not the pandemic. We rely less on Russian gas than Europe, so it's not the war in Ukraine. So I'm stumped, what could be the reason for this?!

Woke up. Undermined Brexit. Had a shower. Undermined Brexit. Ate breakfast. Undermined Brexit. Stuck the TV on. Undermined Brexit. etc. Phew! (According to Jacob Rees-Mogg, Remainers are somehow undermining Brexit despite having lost the referendum and being nowhere near power.)

I’m returning to work tomorrow after the Christmas break and it always feels unnatural to be sat at a desk for a solid 8+ hours a day, 5+ days a week. I’m starting to realise how this kind of normalised work/life balance is actually unnatural. Time for a change.
