Dear @Keir_Starmer, The next time you are interrupted and talked over by @bbclaurak #bbclaurak please stop and ask her if she ever went to kindergarten. If she asks why, ask her if she ever learned not to talk over other people. #LabourConference2022 #Labour Retweet if you agree.

In all this despair about Truss’ reckless gamble, what really angers me is that local authorities are facing massive overspends this year and harsh cuts next. Yet again Tories wreak havoc on the services we all rely on.

If this poll was repeated at a general election Labour would win a 182 seat majority. Conservative MPs losing their seats would include Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Iain Duncan Smith, Penny Mordaunt, Steve Baker, Grant Shapps, Andrea Leadsom, Andrea Jenkyns and Dominic Raab.

My son's eye-watering mortgage (to me) of £200k @£750 pm, will go up by £500pm if rates rise to the now forecast 5%.His fixed-rate fuel deal has expired and doubled. Boy, will he need the extra £10.17 pm the tax cuts will give him. THIS. is. a. disgrace.

Who else thinks that the Tories are now in full on "Let's wreck the country and get as much money as we can" mode because they know its gameover for them at the next election.

So, Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng (who is also a paid consultant for Odey Asset Management) destabilises sterling, while Business Secretary, Jacob-Rees Mogg (partner in Somerset Finance) destabilise business. Both set to privately make minimum £100m from their Government decisions.

Odey employs Kwarteng. Odey bankrolls Brexit. Brexit destabilises UK. Kwarteng becomes Chancellor. Odey bets against GBP. Kwarteng destabilises GBP. Odey reaps enormous rewards. Do you see how it works yet? And this is just one example, of many. reuters.com/business/finance…

Kwasi Kwarteng tells the BBC that his tax cuts "favour people right across the income scale." Here's how that income scale looked after his announcement.

Why is Mark Fullbrook who just happens to be Chief of Staff to Liz Truss having his salary paid by his own lobbying company? If this isn't a blatant conflict of interest then i don't know what is. Truss has taken Johnsonism to a new level, this is serious #bbclaurak...

Very bad start for Truss. We have to rely now upon the security services of other countries to dare to ask the awkward questions of this government and its officials. thetimes.co.uk/article/no-10…

So Truss blames the soar in energy prices on Putin and the war in Ukraine, but is still hellbent in protecting a projected £170 billion profit to be made by energy companies. Shell and BP have paid no corporation tax on North Sea gas and oil for 3 years. Am I missing something ?
