I'd be genuinely interested to know if @YSINational are still committed to the SNP's policy of an indy Scotland signing TPNW. If so, will they now support having Scotland sign TPNW *before* making any application to join NATO.
In light of unprovoked Russian aggression we have today updated our position to reflect our full support for an independent Scotland's membership of NATO.
Extra! Indy Jigsaw Update! Tonight at 6pm... With a war in Ukraine and now Finland and Sweden asking to join Nato, where might an i-Scotland stand vis-a-vis getting rid of Trident and NATO membership. Bill Ramsay, of SCND & SNPCND, joins us on IndependenceLive YouTube Channel
177 of the top 250 people on the 2022 Sunday Times Rich List 2022 are billionaires. They have a collective wealth of £653.122 billion which is about 30% of the UK's GDP.

Let's imagine we decide that the very idea of a billionaire is corrosive to the common weal of society. So we create a wealth tax of 100% of all wealth above £1bn. We'll let them keep that much. It's still more than a reasonable person can reasonably spend on reasonable things.
Those 177 billionaires would still have £1bn each. Give them an extra few pennies and they can each keep their respective rankings on the Rich List if that's what really bothers them.
Doing this would create a wealth fund of £476.122 billion.
This would be enough to give every one of the UK's 68 million people about £7000 each.
That's the height of the hoards that these collective wealth dragons are sitting on.
Remember the "Minimum Wage Machine" that would drop a penny every few seconds that you turned the crank (enough to earn you minimum wage for turning it for an hour)?
The #1 STRL member earned the equivalent of 130kg of pennies every second last year.

An economic advisory council to the Indian government has recommended introducing a Universal Basic Income and extending India's rural jobs guarantee scheme to urban areas.
If I was FM, this would be a very good time to discuss coordinating to hold an indyref in Scotland and an Irish border poll on the same day. Even better if Wales can join in as well as any English regions who want to push for devolved parliaments.

Ellen is quoted here discussing the times she's been told she shouldn't be "allowed" to vote in indyref2 because in 2014 "immigrants" didn't support independence.
Both her and I have subsequently shown not only that indy support amongst "New Scots" is rising, in some cases it has overtaken indy support amongst folk born in Scotland.

Here's the pro-indy sentiment amongst folk born in "Scotland", "England" and "Elsewhere" between Sept 2014 and April 2022 (i.e. I've been keeping it updated since that report).
Oh, to get better polling on New Scots. We can't even distinguish New Scots as EU, non-EU or Welsh...
