Are we the first demographic in history pushed to have self-created answers to community + political ideology + profession + religion + locality + diet + (sometimes) social class? That's, like, a lot. No wonder we're so crazy.

I think this is a big one. The "striver" archetype heavily suppresses their own sex drive with over-use of stimulants, sleep deprivation, lack of sun and clean air, and a generally frazzling and cortisol-inducing schedule. No time for simmering mystery. I've seen it.
