I met with @alan_s01 & team last week and was impressed with the level of energy and ideas for the future of active travel in the borough.
Great to be at the launch of Barnet's first play streets with lots of friends and colleagues @anne_clarke @nigel_young1 @RedKaff @sarahsackman - all the kids (young and old!) had a good time!

The NHS is more of a Sickness Service than a Health Service. Health spending is too focused on treating illness. Chronic disease continue to increase to unaffordable levels. We urgently need more investment in illness prevention - active travel & diet.
