The arrogance of Labour if they think their leaders is anything to do with them. Truss will go...2 weeks max? but Labour cannot win on their own.... they need a coalition to make this stick.

The attack on a temple school in Let Yet Kone last Friday by the Myanmar military with troops and Mi35 helicopter gunshots caused appalling carnage. At least 7 children died from dreadful injuries but many more are still missing. The human toll of this terrible war keeps rising.

Htet Htet Khine is just one of dozens of journalists detained and convicted in Myanmar for doing their jobs. One journalist was raped after being detained. Treatment by Myanmar military authorities of detainees is appalling. Many have died in custody.

Surprising Thailand’s royal family is not sending a rep to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth - only the UK ambassador is going. Other SE Asian countries are sending senior royals or government representatives. Prince Andrew attended both jubilee and funeral of Thai King Bhumibol.

You have to hope that the communist authorities in Vietnam have a better sense of junior than to arrest a noodle-seller for spoofing a top party official eating at a $1000 dollar steak house in London. What else did he do to threaten the state? reuters.com/world/asia-pacif…

In less than 24 hours, a thread offering tips to avoid / fight cancer 'naturally' (mainly through diet⛳️) has gotten over 100k likes. Sadly, the advice given is both wrong and dangerous, and *very* likely to cause harm. A quick thread on why this is so misguided... 🧵
