I thought about all firefighters, paid and volunteer, while watching this house burn as part of a training session today in my hometown in Wisconsin. Thank you for working to keep folks safe, first responders!

The Wisconsin DOJ says a Racine police officer shot and killed someone following a foot chase this afternoon.
The DOJ says the officer stopped a car tied to a suspect wanted for felon in possession of a gun. Police say, after running, the suspect "was seen with a handgun."

Individuals cannot be “diverse.” A group could be said to be diverse, but not a person. Let’s say what we mean just a bit more accurately — members of underrepresented groups, It’s wrong to place the need for diversity on one person, unless tokenism is the end goal.

In the last 24 hours, Republicans have voted *against* funding to fix the baby formula shortage, *against* investigating white supremacist domestic terrorism, and *against* making it illegal for gas companies to price gouge American consumers.
