Nah, it’s just a coincidence. In the Moderna patent it is on the opposite strand (so not even applicable to an RNA virus) and it’s out of frame so it does NOT encode PRRA as in the SARS2 insertion.

I haven’t read the article you’re responding to. But on the issue of the HIV artifacts, that paper was retracted more due to intense pressure it seems rather than any scientific inaccuracy. It seems like there is a there there, we just don’t know have the connecting details yet.

No, it got retracted because RaTG13 was released which showed the “inserts” aren’t inserts. In fact, I think that’s WHY RaTG13 was released — so that the authors would “shut their stinking mouths”, as Shi Zhengli has put it. Since we saw many more bat viruses with those “inserts”

I’ve always wondered about the HIV inserts paper, mostly because Fauci, Collins, and Farrar were clearly very concerned about it. Hilarious that these esteemed men of science were sharing “fringe” Zero Hedge links at this critical early stage of the pandemic. Why bother with it?
